Educational Blogs
Half an Hour:
http://halfanhour.blogspot.com/2009/04/blogs-in-education.html
I really liked this blog post because it gave very basic information about blogs in general, then how blogs relate to education, and finally followed up with how to actually use blogs in the classroom. One thing that was great, was all of the author's links to outside resources that either backed up or exemplified what he was saying.
Blogs in Education:

This blog post was helpful because it listed four basic functions of using blogs in the classroom. In my assessment class, we have been learning about portfolios. So, I thought it was such an interesting idea to have a digital portfolio, housed in blog form.
Web 2.0 in the Classroom: 33 Ways
http://web20intheclassroom.blogspot.com/2008/10/ways-to-use-blogs-in-your-classroom-and.html
As the post title implies, this post has 33 great ideas for incorporating blogs in the classroom. One idea that was listed was to have children write posts reviewing children's books. My content area is English, so I think that if I taught in high school or middle school, it would be a lot of fun to incorporate this idea. The students would have an actual audience for their writing and give them a chance to display their opinions in an atypical format-both would be likely to encourage students write better and actually read the book.
Two blogs I'm following:
